Award-winning author and martial arts black belt Bowen Gillings combines forces with former MMA fighter and weapons expert AJ Metzger to help you understand how to write the perfect fight scene to fit your story. This workshop breaks down weapons from around the world and throughout history, demonstrates some basic techniques, tools, and tips, and explains the realities of violent action. Using successful current novels, fight scenes are analyzed in terms of character, voice, setting, and more. Attendees get their hands dirty with writing exercises and hands-on fight demos all to help you put real feel into the fights you write.
